Visitor Policy - DRAFT
This policy has been created to promote positive relationships and sharing of resources with MMCC Partners while providing a safe, secure and positive working environment for staff and patients and meeting the strategic objectives of the ministry. It outlines the various types of visitors who are invited to MMCC as well as the purposes and parameters of these visits.
Information Technology: Acceptable Use - DRAFT
MMCC members must only use MMCC Information Resources as permitted by this policy. Information and technology associated with or belonging to MMCC must be protected by taking appropriate measures such as keeping passwords private, encrypting all computers and devices, and locking all portable devices. The appropriate use of MMCC Information Resources focuses on two primary areas 1) security and privacy of all hospital information in compliance with any governmental laws/rules or hospital policies (including patient data, financial data, employee information, etc.); 2) individual responsibilities in the use of MMCC resources.
Healthcare Providers
The main goal of our policies at Mercy Medical Center Cambodia is to provide the best healthcare for our patients. Equally important is taking care of our staff. Our vision, mission, and core values help us achieve this goal. Our policies and procedures guide our staff in doing their jobs effectively. All staff members are expected to follow these policies. If a situation isn’t covered by the policies, staff should use good judgment and reasoning. Violations of these policies will be handled according to our employee handbook.

Educational Support
MMCC desires to promote the educational and professional development of its staff. We believe that further education and training for our staff will enhance their ability to help MMCC carry out its mission and vision. Due to our limited financial resources, a policy is needed to decide who is eligible for educational support, what kind of education is eligible, who decides whether and what support is given, and the employees’ responsibilities as a recipient of educational assistance.
